Reminders and how often they are sent

Data providers receive reminders after receiving a data request until they answer. Here is the sequence:


  1. Request reminder notifications are sent:
    1. to the request receiver (contributor), when the request is in state PENDING and the due date is next day
    2. to the request receiver (contributor), when the request is in state PENDING and the due date is on the same day
    3. to the request receiver (contributor), when the request is in state PENDING and the due date is 1, 3, 5 and 7 days after
    4. to the request sender, when the request is in state REVIEW and the state change happened 7 days ago
  2. If more than one reminder email was planned for the given day:
    1. These reminder emails are not sent
    2. A single email is sent instead with the information that multiple requests require user's attention and link to the requests list page
