How to set up your grievance mechanism

At Daato, you can set up a grievance channel through which stakeholders from your supply chain can submit complaints about human rights or environmental violations. If you are interested, simply activate the switch in the Complaints mechanism section in the “Module settings” menu item.



You must then upload a document with information on data protection. 


It also creates a link for the grievance mechanism that you can copy and paste into the desired location (company website, email footer, etc.) for stakeholders to submit complaints. When stakeholders click on the link, they will be taken to a website where the process for submitting a complaint is explained and they can submit a complaint by clicking on “Report”.



The information that stakeholders must enter in order to submit a complaint is relatively brief, but contains important points of information about the incident. 



The complaint is then displayed as an incident on the incident page.
