The collaboration feature

Modified on Tue, 4 Feb at 9:47 PM

Our collaboration feature (the "Collaboration" feature) allows you to involve one or multiple colleagues in working on a data point.

Simply click on "Collaborate":

Then select the people who should contribute:

All contributors will receive an invitation and can add their input to the response.

As the initiator, you will then see the contributions as shown in the screenshot below and can draft a final response from the various inputs.

Are the responses automatically transferred to the final answer fields?

No. The collaboration feature is not designed to automatically transfer responses into the final text field. Many of our customers use it, for example, to gather input from multiple experts who provide different answers and then create a consolidated response from the various parts.

Why don’t I need to "accept" collaboration responses in the Requests tab?

Because the responses are not directly transferred into the final text field. Instead, they are displayed as suggestions below the final text field. As the sender of the query, you can then decide whether to transfer them into the final answer field.
