Add a unit to your Reporting Structure

From your Reporting structure, you can extend the list of units within an entity by clicking on “>”. You are either able to:

  • edit the details of the unit by clicking on it;

  • add a new unit.


Bear in mind that units are a generic term that may describe any entity that falls under an entity: usually locations such as offices, or manufacturing plants. This largely depends on the context of your organization.



Click on “Add unit” at the bottom on the extended unit column. Provide the name of the entity and the person responsible of its carbon accounting.




For your information, specifying the unit manager is optional. If you would like to take care of the reporting of the unit in question yourself, you can simply not specify any unit manager. 



A confirmation message will appear to confirm the addition of the new unit, which you will also see added to the unit list.
