Introducing ESRS Consolidation: Simplified and Automated Reporting
Modified on Thu, 20 Nov at 1:14 PM
We are excited to announce a new enhancement to our ESRS reporting platform — ESRS Consolidation. This feature streamlines the process of creating comprehensive, consolidated reports by bringing together multiple source reports into a single, unified document. It leverages automation and intelligent summaries to save time and improve accuracy.
Key Benefits
- Centralized Data Collection: Easily combine multiple ESRS reports into one consolidated report, providing a clear overview of your ESG disclosures.
- Role-Based Access: Permissions are straightforward — report managers and admins can manage all aspects, while auditors can view reports in read-only mode.
- Guided Workflow: The process is intuitive, guiding users through creating, reviewing, and finalizing consolidated reports step-by-step.
- Automated Summaries: Use AI-powered will automatically generate summaries of data points and final paragraphs, reducing manual effort.
- Time-Saving Automation: Optionally, generate complete answers and summaries automatically, speeding up report completion.
How It Works — High-Level Overview
Creating a Consolidated Report
- Users start by selecting the option to create a new report and choose "Consolidated Report".
- They provide a report name, specify the reporting period, and select multiple existing ESRS reports to include.
- The system takes all relevant data from these source reports, ensuring the consolidated report reflects the state at creation time.
Managing the Consolidated Report
- The process is divided into three clear steps:
- Step 1: Review and select Disclosure Requirements (DRs) and Data Points (DPs) for each category. Users can see which items are included from source reports and access detailed inputs if needed.
- Step 2: Summarize data by reviewing answers from source reports or generating automatic summaries with a click of a button. Data collection is simplified, with options to overwrite or generate answers via AI.
- Step 3: Finalize the report by reviewing and confirming the final paragraphs, with options to incorporate AI-generated summaries for each disclosure.
Visuals & Data Representation
- Donut charts display the progress within each category, showing how many data disclosures and datapoints are completed or included.
- Users can drill down into specific disclosures to review details, history, comments, and attachments, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
