Guide to Handling Requests in EQS Sustainibility Cockpit – Supply Chain Sustainability Module
Modified on Thu, 27 Mar at 2:41 PM
1. About EQS Sustainibility Cockpit
EQS Sustainibility Cockpit is a sustainability management software that helps companies comply with regulatory requirements such as CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CO₂ footprint reporting, LkSG, and the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
The Supply Chain Sustainability Module supports companies in identifying sustainability risks in their supply chain. This is done through an abstract risk analysis, which assesses supplier locations and products based on country risk indices and product risk information. Suppliers with higher risks receive targeted requests for risk mitigation or corrective actions.
2. Where to Find Your Requests
Step 1: Log into EQS Sustainibility Cockpit
- You will receive an email notification when a new request is available.
- Click the link in the email to access the request directly.
Step 2: Access the Request
- Follow the link that takes you to the portal. Enter your email address, which has already been registered in the system under your data provider profile by our customer, and click Continue.
- For the first login, a one-time code will be sent to you via email, which you need to enter.
- Now, set your password and use it for future logins.
Here, you will find all open, completed, or planned requests.
Step 3: Respond to the Request
- Review the requested information.
- Fill in the required data fields or upload necessary documents.
- Click Save & Submit to complete the request.
3. Types of Requests You May Receive
1. Code of Conduct Agreement
The LkSG requires companies to ask their suppliers to acknowledge and agree to a Supplier Code of Conduct.
Your options:
✔ Agree: Download, sign, and upload the document in EQS Sustainibility Cockpit.
? Provide documentation: Show that you already comply with similar requirements.
❌ Decline: If you cannot or do not wish to agree.
2. Self-Assessment Questionnaire
This questionnaire asks about measures you have taken to address sustainability risks.
Your tasks:
✔ Answer risk-related questions (only categories relevant to your company will be shown).
? Upload supporting documents.
? Forward the questionnaire to a colleague if needed.
? Once submitted, your risk level will be updated accordingly.
3. Preventive Measures
If risks are identified in your self-assessment, your customer may request preventive actions.
Your options:
✔ Confirm: If already implemented, upload proof.
? Plan the implementation: Set a deadline and provide evidence later.
❌ Decline: If the measure is not feasible.
4. Remedial Actions
If an incident (e.g., media reports or complaints) is detected, your customer may require corrective actions.
Your process:
✔ Review the required action.
? Upload proof or implement corrective steps.
? Set a deadline for completion if needed.
❌ Decline if the action is not feasible.
4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
? Can I modify a completed request?
→ Contact us at support@daato.net
? Can I invite colleagues to respond?
→ Yes, you can forward requests via the Actions Menu.
? What is the deadline for responding?
→ The deadline is specified in the request.
5. Contact & Support
