Include Your Double Materiality Assessment and Gap Analysis

Modified on Mon, 7 Apr at 5:51 AM

If you have conducted your Double Materiality Assessment and/or a Gap Analysis with Daato or uploaded your results to Daato, you can directly integrate them into your reporting process. Your data will then be automatically transferred into the reporting workflow.

Integrating the Double Materiality Assessment

The identified material sustainability matters are automatically linked to the corresponding ESRS disclosure requirements and data points. This simplifies the identification of relevant data points and reduces manual effort. You can easily select your finalized materiality report when creating a new report under “Double Materiality (optional).”

By linking your material sustainability matters with ESRS data points known as "Mapping", you receive a clear and automated selection of the relevant disclosure requirements and data points in Step 1 of the reporting process. This article explains the structure of this mapping and the underlying process.

Integrating the Gap Analysis

When you integrate your gap analysis into the ESRS reporting, the scope defined by you in Step 1 is automatically carried over. The selection of datapoints, along with all provided justifications, is mirrored accordingly in Step 1 of the reporting process.
Additionally, the data collection setup from Step 2, including assigned colleagues, selected collection methods, and detailed datapoint information, is automatically transferred into the reporting.

Can I update my Double Materiality Assessment or Gap Analysis after making changes?

Yes, this is possible. You can update imported data at any time or integrate a DMA or gap analysis into a report afterwards. In doing so, your current report data will be overwritten by the imported data. Since this action cannot be undone, you will be asked to confirm the import beforehand,  ensuring that no data is accidentally replaced.
