Final Data Approvers in ESRS and VSME

The ESRS Final Data Approver and VSME Final Data Approver roles allow administrators to give selected users permission to review final data point values. Their view is limited to the data points assigned to them for approval.

Which areas can Final Data Approvers see?

Final Data Approvers can access the relevant ESRS or VSME module. Within the module, they can see only the Reporting section.

The report list shows only reports that contain data points assigned to them and where data collection in step 3 has started or been completed. Within those reports, they can see only step 3. In that step, they can see only the Final Data Points section. The aggregation and collaboration progress cards are not visible.

Which data points can they see?

The Final Data Points section displays only information related to their assigned data points:

• The numbers in the charts reflect only data points assigned to them.
• Within a category, such as Environmental, they can see only standards and disclosure requirements (DRs) containing assigned data points.
• When they expand a standard or DR, they can see only the data points assigned to them.
  
  

What can Final Data Approvers do?

Final Data Approvers can accept or reject assigned data points in the Review state. They can also add comments to any data point visible to them.
