EQS Software Updates 6. March 2026
Modified on Thu, 12 Mar at 4:46 PM

Fine‑Grained Email Settings for Notifications
A new email settings area allows you to manage which types of Daato emails you want to receive. You can configure notifications such as invitations, reminders, and status updates to better match your workflows and reduce inbox noise. These settings give you more control over communication while keeping critical updates visible.
Reliable Bounced Email Notifications
Bounced email notifications now appear reliably when messages sent from Daato cannot be delivered (for example, due to invalid recipient addresses). This helps administrators and report owners quickly identify communication issues and update contact information, ensuring that stakeholders actually receive the requests and invitations you send from the platform.
Delete Supplier No Longer Deletes Linked User Accounts
Deleting a supplier could in some edge cases also delete the user account of the supplier’s default contact, and users could also trigger deletion using a less restrictive flow. The deletion logic has been hardened so that:
- Removing a supplier no longer deletes any user accounts.
- Users cannot delete their own account through this flow.
- User deletion now uses a stricter, user‑token‑based API.
This prevents accidental loss of user accounts while still allowing you to clean up supplier records.

Unified Upload for Double Materiality Assessment Files
The Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) workflow now supports a unified file upload experience:
- You can upload more than one file in Step 1 of the DMA, for example to attach supporting documentation, evidence, or stakeholder feedback.
- Backend and frontend handling of DMA uploads has been unified so the process is more robust and consistent across different file types and sizes.
This makes it easier to keep all relevant DMA evidence directly attached to your assessments, without having to choose a single “master” file or split documentation across different tools.

Consistent CO2 Error Messages Across Languages
Error messages in the CO2 module are now consistent between German and English. Previously, certain error logs appeared differently depending on the language, which could lead to confusion during troubleshooting. With this fix, you will see aligned and fully translated error messages, making it easier to understand and resolve issues regardless of your interface language.

Auditors and Admins Can Review EU Taxonomy Activity Assessments
Auditors and Admins can now correctly view the assessment of activities in the EU Taxonomy module. A front‑end permission issue previously prevented some of these users from seeing the detailed assessments. With this fix, all intended roles can review activity assessments end‑to‑end, supporting smoother audit and review processes.

Entity Managers Can Access Their Own Business Entities in SCS
Entity managers assigned to entities in the SCS module were unable to see their own business entities in the repository and only saw suppliers. The permissions have been aligned with the intended behavior:
- When the SCS settings toggle for entity‑manager access is enabled, entity managers can now view and manage the own‑business entities they are assigned to, including the risk dashboard for those entities.
- Entity managers still cannot create new entities; they can only manage the ones assigned to them.
This gives entity managers the right level of access to work effectively without broadening their permissions beyond their scope.
