Export Step 1 Selections

Overview

A feature in the CSRD / ESRS Reporting module that allows users to export the selections made in Step 1: Determine Scope.

This export provides a structured overview of the disclosure requirements selected or excluded during the scope determination process. It helps teams document decisions, share scope selections with internal stakeholders, and support audit or review processes.

The export can be accessed directly from the “More actions” menu in the reporting workflow.

Where to Find the Feature

  1. Navigate to CSRD / ESRS → Reporting.

  2. Open the relevant reporting year.

  3. In Step 1: Determine scope, click More actions in the top-right corner.

  4. Select Export Step 1 selections.





The system will generate a file containing the selected and excluded disclosure requirements from Step 1.

What the Export Includes

The exported file provides an overview of the scope definition, including:

  • Selected ESRS disclosure requirements

  • Excluded disclosure requirements

  • Scope decisions made during Step 1: Determine scope

  • Structured data for internal documentation or review

This helps organizations maintain transparency in how the ESRS reporting scope was determined.

When to Use This Feature

The Export Step 1 selections function is useful for:

  • Documenting scope decisions internally

  • Sharing scope selections with internal teams or consultants
