Accounting standards

To speed up the process of uploading thousands or more booking data entries, and especially their classification, you can use our feature for creating accounting standards. To do this, click on the "Accounting Standards" menu button in the navigation bar on the left side.

You now have two options to add an accounting standard — with or without Daato's support/onboarding.

Creating an Accounting Standard with Onboarding

Daato has developed a simplified onboarding flow to make adding accounting standards as easy as possible. The first step is to provide a descriptive name (e.g., HGB) and the year.

In the second step, you can add various accounts to a table and sort them into revenue, CAPEX, and OPEX categories. This allows for direct classification into these categories when uploading your financial data. You can also download this table as a template, fill it out in Excel, and upload it again.

Once all the information is uploaded, you will see a result like the following. When uploading financial data, you will benefit from this by being able to classify the data according to accounts.
