Individual name for the activity

After selecting a taxonomy activity under which one of your business activities falls, you can give it an individual name.

Why should you do this?

As a company, you can list multiple sub-activities under a taxonomy activity. For example, if you produce different types of cement, it is possible that one of the products meets the technical screening criteria for substantial contribution to an environmental objective and the DNSH (Do No Significant Harm) criteria, thus being taxonomy-compliant, while another product in your portfolio may not meet these criteria and is only taxonomy-eligible.

In this case, you should create two sub-activities under the taxonomy activity "Manufacture of cement," one labeled as "Climate-neutral cement" and the other as "Conventional cement."
