Access and understand the user management panel & the roles
Modified on Mon, 26 May at 11:02 AM
As an admin, you can manage all the different users on your instance, and their permissions. Click on “Users” on the top navigation menu to access the user management panel. You will see all the users active on your instance, their roles, and their status.
As Daato is a modular platform, there are many roles and specific permissions available. We are fully aware this can get confusing so we compiled an overview of each role and what they mean.
Cross-Module Roles:
- Admin: Users with the highest permissions, having access to all modules and full authorization.
- Auditor: Users who can view all modules (except LkSG), reports, and data, including historical records, but cannot make changes.
- Data Providers: Users with very limited access rights, only enabling reactive collaboration on data requests.
Module-Specific Roles:
Roles in the EU Taxonomy Module:
- EU Taxonomy Module Manager: Users with full responsibility for the taxonomy module and the authority to assign permissions within the module.
- EU Taxonomy Approver: Users responsible for approving submitted data from units/sites.
- EU Taxonomy Entity Manager: Users responsible for entering and providing data for their assigned units/sites within the taxonomy module.
- EU Taxonomy Entity Approver: Users responsible for approving the data entered by their assigned units/sites within the taxonomy module.
Roles in the ESRS Module:
- ESRS Module Manager: Users with full responsibility for the ESRS module and the authority to assign permissions within the module.
- ESRS Reporter: Users responsible for and authorized to edit their assigned ESRS disclosure requirements. Assignments are made in steps 1 and 2 of the ESRS reporting workflow.
- ESRS Entity Manager: Users responsible for entering and providing data for their assigned units/sites within the ESRS module.
- ESRS Entity Approver: Users responsible for approving the data entered by their assigned units/sites within the ESRS module.
Roles in the LkSG Module:
- LkSG Module Manager: Users with full responsibility for the LkSG module and the authority to assign permissions within the module.
- LkSG Supplier Relationship Manager: Users with full responsibility for their assigned suppliers.
- LkSG Entity Manager: Users with full responsibility for their assigned units and their suppliers.
Roles in the CO₂ Footprint Module:
- CO₂ Footprint Module Manager: Users with full responsibility for the CO₂ module and the authority to assign permissions within the module.
- CO₂ Footprint Entity Manager: Users responsible for entering and providing data for their assigned units/sites within the CO₂ module.
- CO₂ Footprint Entity Approver: Users responsible for approving the data entered by their assigned units/sites within the CO₂ module.
