EQS-Updates 9. May 2025

    What has changed?

Entities may sometimes find themselves in a position where they have no eligible taxonomy activities to declare, yet are still required to submit financial information. Previously, Daato required at least one activity to be defined in order to proceed with the report. This blocked entities from advancing in the reporting process and staying compliant.
With this new feature, admins and module managers can now move forward by selecting the option to “Complete with no activities.”

    ⚒ How it works

New action: "Complete with no activities"

- Available for Admins and Module Managers only

- This action is available in all 3 first steps of a taxonomy report:

  • Minimum Safeguard
  • Eligibility
  • Alignment

   ❓ What happens after confirmation?

- Steps 1 to 3 (Minimum Safeguard, Eligibility, Alignment) are marked as “Completed with no activities”

- User is taken directly to the Financial Data step

- Only the following fields are shown:

  • Total CapEx
  • Total OpEx
  • Total Turnover

- Financial inputs follow the existing aggregation logic as seen in analytics and reports

    ⛔Important conditions

- If any activities are added in Step 1, the “Complete with no activities” action becomes disabled for all steps

- Users can reopen steps as usual if changes need to be made later

    What has changed?

- New "Upload emission factors" option added in the actions menu next to each version in the CO2 module (both base and report versions).

 - Opens an easy-to-use side panel for uploading data from a file.

- The upload file template includes fields like:

  • Activity name, Category, Sector, Region
  • Description, Emission factor value, Source, Year
  • Scope numbers (e.g., “1.2, 1.3”)
  • Measurement type and Unit (with drop-down lists for easier input)
  • Source URL, Year introduced, and Uncertainty percentage

- After uploading, the system processes the file and sends the data to the server.

- Users will see a success message or can download a file with any errors to fix.

Enhancements:

⏩ Used familiar import design to make it easy to understand.
⏩ Drop-downs for measurement type and unit help reduce mistakes.

What is the added value?

⭐ Saves time and effort by allowing bulk uploads instead of entering data one by one.
⭐ Makes the process smoother and reduces the chance of errors.

    What has changed?

    Gap Analysis Overhaul Enhancements

  • Step 2 Completion Window
Updated text in the Gap Analysis Step 2 pop-up to clarify prerequisites before completing a step.
  • Sync History Update
Importing/syncing a Gap Analysis report into ESRS Reporting now updates the history of disclosures and data point definitions.
  • DMA Sync Handling
Re-syncing a DMA report in Gap Analysis or ESRS Reporting correctly enables/disables disclosures and data points, while preserving existing data point definitions.

Extended Units in Weight over Distance Measurement Type

- Added kilogram km and kilogram mile as supported units.

- Enabled unit conversions within the type using defined ratios:

  • kilogram km ↔ kilogram mile
  • kilogram km ↔ ton mile
  • kilogram mile ↔ ton mile
  • kilogram km ↔ tonne km
  • kilogram mile ↔ tonne km

Enhancements:
⏩ Improved clarity, data consistency, and syncing reliability across Gap Analysis and ESRS Reporting.
⏩  Expanded measurement unit coverage to support more granular and flexible calculations.

What is the added value?
⭐ Improves compatibility and precision in weight-distance based calculations across different unit standards.

Problem
"undefined" is displayed when a user has no last name.

GIVEN:

A user profile exists with only a first name and no last name

 WHEN

The user is displayed in the users list

 THEN:

The user's name is shown as "{firstName} undefined"

✅ Fixed Behavior
The user's name should be shown as "{firstName}" only when the last name is missing.
